We are looking for a dedicated and organized Science Lab Assistant to support the Science Department in maintaining laboratories and assisting teachers during practical sessions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology practical classes.
- Arrange, maintain, and issue laboratory equipment, chemicals, specimens, and teaching aids.
- Assist teachers and students during practical sessions and laboratory demonstrations.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in all science laboratories.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain stock registers for laboratory equipment and consumables.




- Report damaged or missing equipment and coordinate for timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and school guidelines.
- Assist in setting up experiments, exhibitions, science fairs, and other academic activities.
- Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and equipment maintenance logs.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety practices.
- Good organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

Eligibility

- B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science discipline, or Diploma in Laboratory Technology.
- 1–5 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant in a school, college, or educational institution.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and practical laboratory knowledge may also apply.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and equipment handling is preferred.
