Job Overview

We seek an analytical demand analyst to develop accurate forecasts for manufacturing parts, ensure optimal inventory levels, and enable production planning. Requires collaboration with Sales, Account Management, and Product Management to translate market insights into actionable demand plans using AI and data science techniques.

Roles Responsibility

- Develop and optimize demand forecasts by leveraging historical sales data, cross-functional inputs from Sales/Account Management/Product Management, AI-driven forecasting techniques, and continuous adjustments based on demand trends, customer orders, and product lifecycle changes to align with business strategies.
- Monitor forecast performance and market intelligence by analyzing forecast accuracy, identifying variance patterns, recommending improvement actions, and gathering key market insights to enhance forecasting reliability and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers and Product Management to gather customer-specific demand patterns, upcoming project requirements, and incorporate product lifecycle stages, new product introductions, and end-of-life planning into comprehensive demand forecasts.
- Lead stakeholder alignment through monthly demand review meetings to ensure all parties are aligned on forecast assumptions, changes, and strategic planning while facilitating clear communication between teams on demand planning decisions.
- Manage customer capacity validation and coordination by reviewing customer-submitted capacity checks, ensuring new program launch demands are properly entered and tracked in the demand planning system,



and coordinating with internal teams to proactively address capacity risks or discrepancies before production commitments.
- Deliver data-driven analysis and reporting by analyzing historical demand patterns, seasonality, and customer ordering behavior to identify risks and opportunities, while preparing forecast accuracy reports, demand variance analysis, and KPIs to provide clear insights that support inventory optimization and reduce obsolescence.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice development by identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance forecast efficiency and accuracy while contributing to the development of demand planning best practices and tools within the organization.

Desired candidate profile:

Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Masters Preferred).

3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Basic AI and data science knowledge including machine learning fundamentals, data visualization, and predictive analytics, combined with strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in demand planning tools (SAP IBP, SQL, Oracle, or equivalent) with SOP/IBP process knowledge preferred, plus advanced MS Office capabilities (specially Excel).

Excellent English communication skills and stakeholder management abilities to effectively interface with cross-functional teams and business partners.

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, quickly adapt to current requirements, and maintain flexible working arrangements across different time zones per business needs.
