Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Master Scheduling: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, plant capacity, and material availability.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze machine and labor constraints to perform line balancing (ensuring work is evenly distributed to prevent idle machinery).
- Routing & Sequencing: Determine the optimal sequence of production operations (e.g., cutting to assembly to testing) to reduce changeover times and minimize setup costs.

- Material & Inventory Control

Work closely with the Purchase and Stores departments to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are ordered and staged before production begins.
