Key responsibilities of the role:

- Experience in Grid Operations for Utilities Power/Gas/Water

- Hands on experience in Advance Grid Operation Applications- Demand Forecasting, Load Flow Studies, Frequency Management Load Management, Energy Management, Work Order Management, Grid Resiliency, Operational Reliability

- Utilities- Power/Gas/Water Processes Functional Expertise: Transmission Distribution (TD), Grid Operations, Field Operations, Smart Grids, AMI, System Planning, Asset Management, Enterprise Transformation, Analytics

- Work independently on defining solution for complex projects or contribute to solution of a program

- Specialized in a technology/domain/functional competency area and prepare a road map for the competency/Utility industry segment in form of competitive service offerings

- Get involved in assignments in large programs, help in defining business and technological solutions which help customer design and implement recent business processes and organization capabilities.

- Programme management of large, complex business programmes to deliver digitally enabled solutions

- Drive Business Readiness and Deployment activities for region(s)

- Identify opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks

- Draw on extensive knowledge and experience across System Integration projects to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis

- To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people and assets to deliver sustainable long-term solutions

- To provide executives and their teams with the necessary strategies and tools to position their organizations for high performance

- Ability to lead the team from thought leadership, solutioning and demand management perspective (the incumbent will be responsible for the utilization of the team)

- 4+ years experience in TD Utilities in Grid Operations





- 3+ years of experience of working in Grid Operations with advanced knowledge of operation technology systems (at least 3 of the following systems - SCADA, ADMS, EMS, OMS, Grid Cybersecurity, MDMS, AMR/AMI, DRMS, DERMS and GIS) and minimum 1 year of experience in Field Operations, Control Centre operations, Planning and Management with exposure to areas such as application of Analytics, Mobility and Cloud technologies in Field Operations, System Planning, Microgrid Planning, Asset Management and Predictive Analytics

Would be advantageous, not mandatory:

- Relevant Grid Ops, Energy Efficiency Certification in Utilities

- SCADA Certification OSI/Schneider/GE etc. (Would be an advantage)

- EMS/ADMS/GIS/OMS hands-on experience (Would be an advantage)

- ICS Security Certification (Would be an advantage)

- IBM Maximo Asset Management (Would be an advantage)

Qualifications

MBA (Tier 1) or equivalent, Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry

Knowledge Skill Requirements

- Deep knowledge in Utilities industry with core expertise in Transmission Distribution including Grid Operations, Field Operations, Smart Grids and AMI

- Extensive System Exposure: Hands on experience of working with TD systems especially in OSI SCADA platform

- Evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness of existing solutions, platforms, and tools against selected business and technology KPIs and strategic goals

- Experience of maturity assessments and gap analysis for customer impacting processes in the grid operations of Utilities industry

- Ability to assess Value Potential of a TD transformation program and ability to architect the value proposal

- Blend of Utilities Industry and Consulting (and Technology if possible)

- Exposure to International Utilities clients (including onshore client facing consulting work experience)

- Exposure to innovation - IoT, Cybersecurity, Digital
