Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Centre Market Sector Leader to drive our business growth and market expansion in India. Based in Gurgaon, you will lead our strategic initiatives in the data center sector, overseeing market development, business operations, and team leadership across the region. This is a pivotal role for a decisive professional who can shape the future of our data center business in one of Asia''s most dynamic markets.

- Develop and execute comprehensive market strategy for the data center sector in India, identifying growth opportunities and competitive positioning
- Lead business development efforts to establish and expand client relationships with enterprise customers, cloud providers, and strategic partners
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective pricing strategies, service offerings, and go-to-market initiatives




- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making
- Manage PL responsibilities, ensuring operational efficiency and financial targets are met
- Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and potential partners
- Develop and present market performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Oversee service delivery excellence and customer satisfaction across all operations
- Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in cloud infrastructure, edge computing, and related technologies

Qualifications

- 20+ years of experience in the data center, infrastructure, or telecommunications industry
- Strong experience in a leadership or senior management role with direct PL responsibility
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing market strategies in competitive environments
- Deep understanding of the India data center market, including regulatory landscape and customer dynamics
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Experience with cloud infrastructure and hyperscale data center operations
- Preferred: Background in international business expansion or multi-market management
- Preferred: Knowledge of India''s data protection regulations and compliance requirements
