- Manage daily stores and warehouse operations.
- Ensure timely receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical stock verification.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase department for replenishment.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN, material issue slips, stock transfers, and dispatch records.
- Supervise FIFO/FEFO implementation where applicable.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
- Lead and supervise store personnel, allocating work and monitoring performance.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety standards, and warehouse housekeeping.
- Prepare daily, weekly,
and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in stores and warehouse operations within a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in handling raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts inventory.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
