- Create and optimize VMC machining programs.
- Set up VMC machines, fixtures, tools, and workpieces.
- Set cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Conduct trial runs and first-off inspections before production.
- Operate VMC machines to achieve production targets.
- Load and unload components safely.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality as per specifications.
- Optimize setup time, cycle time, and machining efficiency.
- Troubleshoot programming, setup, tooling, and machining issues.
- Support operators during setup and production.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Report production status and machine-related issues to the Production Supervisor.
