We are looking for a Junior Piping Designer to support the design and development of piping systems for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Junior Piping Designer responsibilities include preparing piping layouts, assisting in 2D/3D modeling, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs. To be successful in this role, you should have basic knowledge of piping design concepts and experience with drafting/design software. If you also have exposure to industry standards and project drawings, we d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you ll contribute to creating efficient, safe, and cost-effective piping systems that meet client requirements and support project success.

Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing piping layouts, isometrics, and detailed drawings
- Support 3D modeling of piping systems using design software
- Interpret PIDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and engineering drawings
- Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical)
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes,



standards, and specifications
- Assist in material take-offs (MTO) and documentation
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of piping design and engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, or similar
- Understanding of PIDs and piping layouts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Robust attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Time-management skills to handle multiple tasks

Education

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
