Role & responsibilities

Design UAV airframes (multirotor and fixed-wing) using CAD tools with focus on strength, weight, and aerodynamics

Perform structural and vibration analysis to ensure durability and flight stability under real conditions

Select appropriate materials (carbon fiber, aluminum, composites) based on payload, cost and mission profile

Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and assembly documentation for production

Collaborate with electronics and integration teams to ensure proper component placement and wiring paths

Support rapid prototyping using 3D printing, CNC or laser cutting for quick design iterations

Continuously optimize designs for weight reduction, efficiency, and ease of manufacturing

Preferred candidate profile





Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or CATIA for 3D modeling and assemblies

Solid understanding of aerodynamics, center of gravity (CG) and flight stability principles

Knowledge of UAV structures, propulsion layouts and payload integration constraints

Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and fabrication techniques

Ability to read and create engineering drawings with proper tolerances

Basic understanding of simulation tools for structural or airflow analysis
