AI/ML Senior Cloud Developer

This role has been designed as Hybrid with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.

Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.

The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPEs Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for design and development of complex products and platforms, AI/ML based cloud applications. Solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for building efficient, scalable and robust systems.
- Should know the AI/ML technologies and have hands-on experience with GenAI-based software development
- Develops and maintains GenAI / cloud application modules adhering to security policies.
- Reviews and evaluates designs, test plans, and develops code for compliance with cloud design and development guidelines and standards.
- Deploys code and troubleshoots issues in application modules and the deployment environment.
- Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.




- Represents the engineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members.
- Drives innovation and integration of recent technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
- Analyses science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline.
- Typically, 8-10 years hands-on experience in mentioned technologies,
- Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong working knowledge on GenAI, Prompt Engineering and hands on experience of developing the enterprise application with core as GenAI.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, Scikit, NumPy ), Golang and Scripting.
- Hands-on with Jupyter notebooks
- Understanding microservice architecture and how they can be built in a containerized, Kubernetes-managed environment is central to all modern cloud-native applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals at senior management levels.
- Experience with design methodologies, cloud-native applications, developer tools, managed services, and next-generation databases.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and work well with other team members.
- Understanding DevOps practices like continuous integration/deployment
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies like AWS
