Job Description: Technical Writer

Role Type: Contract (3 Months)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create and maintain clear, structured product documentation for a SaaS platform. The person will work with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation teams to convert product knowledge into customer-facing and internal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, FAQs, and help articles.
- Prepare release notes for recent features, enhancements, and production releases.
- Maintain change logs for minor updates and fixes.
- Document product workflows, configurations, admin actions, and user journeys.
- Work with Product, Engineering, QA, CS, and Support teams to gather accurate information.
- Improve existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and usability.
- Organize documentation in a scalable wiki/help-center structure.
- Ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.
- Create clean, structured content that can also support AI/help-bot use cases.

Required Skills:





- Strong written communication and ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience in technical writing, product documentation, or SaaS documentation.
- Ability to understand product workflows, UI behavior, and configurations.
- Experience writing user guides, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and gather information independently.
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Notion, GitBook, Zendesk Guide, Freshdesk, or similar platforms.

Valuable to Have:

- Experience in HR tech, ATS, B2B SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Basic understanding of agile development, Jira, user stories, and release cycles.
- Experience creating documentation for AI knowledge bases or support bots.
