We are seeking a seasoned Quality Manager with a solid foundation in electronics manufacturing to take absolute ownership of our quality assurance and control ecosystems. In this role, you will be the ultimate custodian of product reliability. You will lead the transition of our quality department into a data-driven, highly preventive unit, ensuring our voltage stabilizers meet the highest standards of safety and performance before they reach the market.
Core Responsibilities
1. Total Quality Ecosystem Ownership
Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Define and enforce rigorous inspection standards for all incoming components, including PCBs, components, transformers, and enclosures.
In-Process & Final Quality Assurance (IPQC/FQC): Standardize staging checks across the assembly lines to catch defects early. Implement final compliance testing protocols for 100% of finished goods.
Domain Mastery: Quickly master the technical intricacies and performance benchmarks of voltage stabilizers to effectively judge product integrity.
2. Root Cause & Fault Analysis
Establish a robust system for internal reject tracking and field failure analysis.
Lead detailed root-cause investigations on component failures or assembly issues, working closely with production to implement permanent corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Strategic Field & Vendor Operations
Vendor Audits:
Utilize the off-season to audit key component suppliers, identifying gaps in their manufacturing processes and driving them to improve component reliability.
Field Performance Testing: Travel to target markets during the off-season to test products under real-world conditions, gathering crucial data on how units perform under varied grid environments.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of dedicated experience in electronics manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing or leading a quality department.
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with electronics assembly processes, soldering standards, component testing, and quality management systems (QMS).
Methodology: Solid hands-on experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone diagrams, 8D problem-solving).
Leadership Style: A metrics-driven leader who communicates clearly and remains uncompromising on quality standards while maintaining a collaborative relationship with production teams.
Travel Flexibility: Ready to undertake seasonal domestic travel for field studies and vendor site audits.
