Job Purpose
The Management Trainee (Sales) will work closely with the Managing Director to learn and
support sales operations, customer handling, business coordination, inventory understanding, and
overall business management activities in the marble and granite industry. The trainee will gain
practical exposure to sales strategies, client management, stock coordination, and business
development while assisting in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Coordination





Assist the MD in daily sales and business activities.
Learn sales processes, customer handling, quotation preparation, and order follow-up.
Coordinate with customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Support the sales team in achieving business targets.
Maintain customer records and sales reports.

Product & Inventory Learning

Learn about marble and granite varieties, sizes, grades, finishes, and applications.
Coordinate with the inventory and production teams to understand stock availability.
Assist in monitoring inward and outward material movement.
Understand dispatch planning and material handling processes.
Client Handling & Communication

Attend client meetings along with the MD and sales team.
Develop professional communication and negotiation skills.
Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates.
Build and maintain good customer relationships.
Operations & Management Exposure

Gain exposure to overall business operations, including sales, inventory, dispatch, and
coordination.
Support interdepartmental coordination between Sales, Production, Purchase, Accounts, and
Stores.
Learn reporting systems,



documentation, and business processes.
Learning & Development

Participate in training sessions and field visits.
Learn market trends, competitor analysis, and customer requirements.
Develop leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
Fresher or 0- 2 years of experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Willingness to learn sales, operations, and business management.
Good coordination and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
