You'll join a team of 360 skilled experts and developers at CARIAD India and around 6,000 CARIDIANs globally, who bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for embedded systems.
- Implement unit tests using GTest and ensure code quality through SonarQube.
- Manage dependencies and build systems using Conan and CMake.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues using gdb and Linux command-line tools.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software architecture and design using PlantUML.
- Apply containerization concepts (e.g., Docker) for development and deployment.
- Optimize multithreaded applications for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Document software designs and processes clearly and effectively.
Required Skills:
- Solid proficiency in C++ (11/14/17) .
- Good understanding of Linux CLI and system-level programming.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman).
- Solid grasp of multithreading and concurrent programming.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Autosar .
- Knowledge of MQTT and Cloud Computing will be a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in automotive software development .
- Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture.
- Exposure to IoT protocols and platforms .
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices .
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
