Job Summary

Corporate Manager Legal is responsible for overseeing corporate legal matters, managing the legal team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The role involves handling contract management, supporting audits, working on special legal assignments such as data protection initiatives, and preparing MIS reports and presentations for management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the team of lawyers and legal professionals.
- Oversee contract drafting, review, and contract management.
- Handle special legal assignments such as initiatives related to DPDP and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports, legal updates, and management presentations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required legal documentation and inputs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
- Monitor legal matters filed before various judicial and quasi-judicial authorities and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Required Education & Experience

- LLB / LLM or equivalent legal qualification
- 4–6 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or contract management
- Experience in Insurance/BFSI sector will be an advantage.

- Quality and timeliness of contract review and legal documentation
- Successful completion of special legal projects (e.g., DPDP)
- Timely MIS reporting, presentations, and audit support.
