Job Description :-

- As Production Head, Ferro Alloys was Looking after the Productions, Planning & Operation, and Quality Control.
- Conformation of product quality & fixing of mix recipe & correction in case of requirement.
- Spearheaded efforts across handling entire spectrum of functions pertaining to factory administration & management facilitating the processes of inventory control & order management
- Production of High Carbon , Ferrochrome ,Ferro Manganese, Silico Manganese, & Ferro silicon & calcium silicon and calcium carbide through Submerged Arc Furnace route, with the specified norms of experience & skill.
- Ferro Alloys 0.325 MTPA with 2 X 60 MVA and 3 X 27.6 MVA submerged Arc furnace.
- Chrome Pellet: 0.6 MTPA Chrome Pellet Plant with Ore Grinding section.
- Project Planning, Costing & Drawing Finalization with Vendors, Procurement and Installation of Equipment as per Drawing and Commissioning
- Ferro Alloys Plant as a Green field project from concept to commissioning with Infrastructure Project
- AOD 3 x 10 T (for Medium Carbon Ferro Manganese)
- 3 x 6 MVA (Product-Ferro Chrome, Silico Chrome, Ferro Manganese & Silico Manganese
- Designing, Fabrication, Erection & Commissioning of Furnace Cover, Electrode Water cooled & Non water cooled Seal, Contact clamp, Bellows, Pressure Ring & Heat Shield & its Water Circulation Manifold with Pipe line of 2 X 60 MVA Close Top Furnace.
- Finalization of Design & Scope of supply of Dry type Gas Cleaning Plant of Close Top Furnace.
- Identify Project for improvement and implement Project management process from the conceptualization to final stage.




- Complete production planning and related activities and its monitoring on day to day basis with sole purpose of achieving quality production. Control of operations and maintenance of the plant and machineries also fall within the ambit of my responsibilities. This includes maximum utilization of manpower and machines using minimum resources. Optimization of cost of production and continuous process improvement. Ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory requirements such as environmental control (ISO 9001/2000), TS System and other systems.
- Valuable communication skills, result oriented approach, Leadership, qualities, exposure to Quality Systems Trouble shooting and rectification.
- Changeover of different product and production of different grade of production.

Uses of different type of ore and understanding its characteristics for use

- Refractory work of furnace / Relining of different capacity of furnace.
- Cast house Management (Tap hole repairing & checking, hot metal handling, Heat Life monitoring and life enhancements of cast iron item & tap hole. reduction of sp cons of consumables through different kaizen/ brain storming /proper foundry practice.
- Bottom pouring casting practice to improve the prime yield SAP operation (PP Module, MM Module)
- Indent / issue and Quality inspection of Production Consumables.

Furnace charging system, EOT Crane, under slung crane & Monorail hoists.

- Cooling towers, Pumps, compressors & Dryers
- Dry type Gas cleaning equipment such as FDC, Bag house, PCDC System, ID Fans
- Wet type Gas cleaning plant such as Ventura Scrubber arrangement & ID Fans
- Dry Type Gas Cleaning Plant Such as Cyclone, Gravity Settler/ Heat Exchanger, Bag Filter, Course & Clean Gas Fan.
- Raw material handling system equipment such as Conveyor, Vibrating screen, Crushers, Feeders
- Briquette plant equipment such as Muller mixer, Compactor, Chrome ore Dryer, Bucket elevator, Belt feeders, Screw feeders, Loss in weight system, Weigh conveyors, Bluffing and Swivel conveyor.
- Installing and commissioning & maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment.

Technical Skills :-

- Proficient in AutoCAD, SAP (PM Module), Primavera, and MS-Office.
- Mastery in project planning, strategic implementation, and global operational standards.

Outstanding team leadership and management capabilities

- Experienced in Project Execution, Commissioning and Operation of the Plant.
- Can control efficiently both Slag & Slagless process of Ferro Alloy & Silicon Metal Products.
