Job Summary:

About the Role

The Abduz Group is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Associate to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, be proficient in Tally, and have the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in Tally

Process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries

Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management

Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and vendor ledgers

Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

Verify bills, expense claims, and supporting documents for accuracy

Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as required

Coordinate with various departments to collect and verify financial information

Support statutory compliance and audit requirements by maintaining accurate records

Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information





Identify discrepancies and report them promptly to the Finance Manager

Requirements

Minimum 1 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Good analytical and numerical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Honest, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage

Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance requirements is preferred
