Role & responsibilities

- Design and development of analog, mixedsignal, and power electronic circuits for AC and DC applications
- Technical ownership from concept, schematic design and component selection through validation and release
- Analysis of existing/legacy hardware designs to identify:
- BOM costreduction and designtocost opportunities
- Overspecification, complexity reduction, and optimization potential
- Execution of hardware redesigns to improve:
- Cost, availability, and lifecycle robustness
- Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and supplychain resilience
- Secondsource and multisource analysis, including component alternatives and qualification
- Solid involvement in component selection and qualification for new designs and redesigns
- Design of power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) and analog signal conditioning circuits
- Microcontrollerbased hardware design, preferably ARM 32bit MCUs (NXP, STMicroelectronics)
- Consideration of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal design, and EMI/EMC
- Close collaboration with PCB layout engineers to ensure layout and manufacturing compliance
- Support and active participation in technical and design reviews
