We are Hiring for EV Quality Engineer Electric 2 Wheelers for one of our reputed client.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an EV Quality Engineer to drive product quality, reliability, and robustness of electric 2-wheelers across development, manufacturing, supplier, and field phases.

The role focuses on EV systems such as battery, motor, controller, wiring harness, and vehicle assembly, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

- Support New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Drive Process Quality during prototype, pilot, and production builds.
- Prepare and review PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOPs, and inspection standards.
- Conduct Process Audits, Product Audits, and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Validation, and Production teams for quality improvements.
- Drive CAPA, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform SPC, MSA,



Cp/Cpk studies and ensure process capability.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Skills:

- Robust knowledge of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, 8D, 7 QC Tools, GD&T;
- Experience in Process Quality / Development Quality / Manufacturing Quality
- Exposure to NPD/NPI activities
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection

Preferred Experience:

- Automotive OEM or Tier-1 Supplier
- Electric Vehicle (EV), Battery Pack, Motor, Wiring Harness, Vehicle Assembly, Casting, Machining, Sheet Metal, or Injection Moulding
- Experience in Prototype Builds, Pilot Builds, Validation, or Product Development

Qualification:

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines
