- General Finance Management is responsible forthe day-to-day financial activities of the organization including:
- Controlling its financial resources and ensuringthat all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply withregulations, accounting principles, and standards
- Financial analysis and reporting, taxation,insurance, credit control, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and costscontrol, and budgeting and forecasting
- Analyzing the organization''s revenues,liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecastit''s short, medium, and long-term cash flow position
- Evaluating and recommending investments andother financial instruments to meet cash flow needs
- Advising management on financial matters and theimpact of laws and regulations on the organization
- Providing expertise and advice to managers tohelp them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage theirfinancial responsibilities
- Presenting findings and recommendations to topexecutives; preparing financial reports that may include auditor and financialanalyst reports, profit and loss, balance sheets, and regulatory reports andfilings
- Ensuring all tax returns, declarations,



andother required reports are submitted accurately and on time
- Selecting and managing relationships withconsultants and advisors to ensure the satisfactory standards of service
