We are seeking someone to join our Finance Shared Services - LEC team as a Director in the Finance Division.
In the Finance Division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
- Adhere to the Firms risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
- Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm’s values, and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Provide leadership, guidance, and monitor resources to meet the following objectives:
- Review of statutory financial statements
- Review of management accounts and variance analysis
- Validation of US Federal Reserve entity-level reporting
- Oversight of monthly reconciliation of accounts and balances
- Co-ordination of all legal entity activity, with key internal experts such as Tax, Treasury, Company Secretarial, Legal and Compliance, Product Controllers, etc.
- Implementation of various monthly, quarterly, and annual processes for the entities managed by the team
- Management and development of staff within the Mumbai team
- Maintain key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, including external auditors and regional service providers
- Re-engineering and standardization of processes to achieve the best possible results
- Support the Business Units in the set-up, opening, and closing of entities, and adapt the entity’s ledgers and system requirements
- Ongoing entity-specific initiatives and projects
- Contribute to the reporting control framework, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal policies.
What you'll bring to the role:
- In-depth knowledge of the Finance functional area, product and/or client segment, and technical skills, as well as the industry and competitive environment
- Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
- Advanced understanding of the Finance functional area, product and/or client segment, and technical skills, as well as the industry and competitive environment
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
- Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting production, review, and submission
- Demonstrate a rounded commercial approach to legal entity controllership and analysis, with proven skills in insightful management reporting, analysis, and sound technical accounting skills
- Be confident in maintaining relationships across a variety of senior stakeholders and business areas
- Ability to manage team workload effectively and balance project and BAU delivery
- Flexibility to work in a agile environment under tight deadlines
- Hold an Accounting/Finance degree (or equivalent) and have an understanding of financial statements
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including data mining,
and summarizing and presenting themes and results in a meaningful format
- Knowledge of financial products used in the financial services industry, and awareness of related issues (preferred)
- At least 4 years’ relevant experience
