Job Summary
The Quality In-Process Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting products during various stages of the kitting process to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections at defined stages of production as per inspection plans
- Support first-off approval, last-off approval, and patrol inspections as per plan
- Prepare a Quality Alert against customer complaints and display it on the production line concerned.
- Verify daily rejections on time with proper documentation and circulate the details through email.
- Prepare and circulate the Daily P.O. Approval MIS through email.
- Provide on-the-job training to operators and staff based on reported quality issues.
- Communicate quality issues to production and quality teams in a timely.
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
- Ensure adherence to quality systems, SOPs, and safety standards
- Involve and support the NPI and NPLI processes.
- Assist in continuous improvement and internal audit activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma
- Experience in in-process quality inspection preferred
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, Bore Gauge, Depth Gauge, APG, Special Type of measuring instrument Like Pistons OD Tester, Ring Tension Tester, Pistons Groove Tester etc)
- Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection methods
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
