DMX Freight Solutions is looking for a reliable and skilled Repair & Maintenance person for our Bhiwandi location. The ideal candidate will handle the upkeep and repair of the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and repair of vehicles, trucks, and loading equipment.
- Handle tyre maintenance, including inspection, rotation, replacement, puncture repair, and monitoring tyre wear and air pressure.
- Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Maintain records of repairs, servicing, tyre usage, and spare parts.
- Coordinate with external mechanics/vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Ensure safety standards and proper functioning of tools and equipment.
- Manage stock of spare parts and tyres, and raise requirements when needed.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2-7 years of experience in vehicle/fleet repair and maintenance, preferably in logistics, transport, or cargo.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, tyre, and general vehicle maintenance work.
- Ability to handle breakdowns and work under pressure.
- Basic record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as per operational needs.
