- - About the Role
- - The PGT / Senior Secondary Teacher – Business Studies & Entrepreneurship is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster critical thinking, business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, financial literacy, and real-world problem-solving skills among students of Grades 11 and 12.
- - Key Responsibilities
- - - Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- - Develop annual lesson plans, unit plans, and assessment schedules.
- - Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes inquiry, innovation, and experiential learning.
- - Integrate real-world business case studies, market trends, and entrepreneurial concepts into classroom teaching.
- - Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- - Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through effective revision strategies and practice sessions.
- - Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- - Encourage participation in business clubs, entrepreneurship programs, exhibitions, and competitions.
- - Use technology-enabled teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms effectively.
- - Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance curriculum delivery.
- - Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- - Participate in school events, professional development programs, meetings, and other institutional responsibilities.
- - Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school's culture and values.




- - Qualification
- - - Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA / Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- - B.Ed. from a recognized university is mandatory.
- - CTET/TET qualification is desirable where applicable.
- - Experience
- - - Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/IB or other reputed schools.
- - Experience teaching Business Studies and Entrepreneurship at the Senior Secondary level (Grades 11 & 12).
- - Proven experience in preparing students for CBSE Board examinations is preferred.
