Requirements

- MBBS degree with a recognized MD/MS in Ophthalmology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Phaco cataract surgery using topical anesthesia (TOPICAL PHECO).
- Preference for candidates with a fellowship or advanced training in Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, or Oculoplasty.
- Proven track record of performing high-volume, high-quality cataract surgeries with excellent visual outcomes.
- Strong clinical judgment, surgical precision, and ability to manage complex and emergency cases independently.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.




- Proficiency in using contemporary diagnostic and surgical equipment, including OCT, ultrasound biomicroscopy, and phaco machines.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) and relevant state medical councils.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous learning in ophthalmology.
