Job Summary

The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for leading test activities across the product lifecycle to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. This role involves defining test strategies, executing system and validation tests, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Software, or related)

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and lifecycle models

• Experience with test documentation (test plans, procedures, reports)

• Handson experience with test tools, lab equipment, and automation

• Solid analytical and problemsolving skills

• Good communication and stakeholdermanagement skills

• Experience working in crossfunctional and global teams

• Experience in safetycritical or regulated industries

• Exposure to certification bodies (TV, UL, CSA, etc.)

• Test automation or scripting experience

• Functional Safety or ATEX certification

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own test strategy, test plans, and test scope for complex systems

• Perform system, integration, verification, and validation testing

• Review and derive test cases from requirements and specifications

• Execute functional, regression, environmental, and compliance tests

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis

• Ensure requirements traceability between requirements, tests, and results

• Support certification, audits, and customer acceptance testing

• Collaborate with R&D;, quality, safety, and project teams

• Mentor and guide junior test engineers

• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and methodologies
