About the Role

Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kannada Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for the Kannada language and literature. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver high-quality instruction, and support students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Kannada lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Kannada.
- Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and interactive activities to enhance learning.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, tests, and classroom participation.
- Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and assessment data.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure academic excellence.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, training programs, and professional development initiatives.




- Promote values, creativity, and critical thinking among students.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Kannada, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Strong command of written and spoken Kannada and English.
- Prior teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/IB or other recognized school boards is preferred.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology is an added advantage.
