- Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering for heavy fabrication and welded structures. Knowledge of American Welding Standards.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, particularly Creo, for 3D modeling, detailing, and assembly design.
- Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, GD&T;, and relevant industrial standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with shop floor and leadership stakeholders.
- Prepare complete engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, welding symbols, BOM, and manufacturing notes.
- Modify existing models and drawings based on customer revisions.
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Creo software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional overseas teams to ensure design meets functional requirements and manufacturing constraints.
- Conduct design reviews, analyze designs for manufacturability, and optimize designs for cost reduction.
- Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for production purposes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design process.
