Energy, Siemens Limited India is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual to join the Gas Turbine Engineering, Gurgaon as Gas Turbines Service Engineer for Outage Planning and Field Support. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, global product development & service setting.

As a Gas Turbine Service Engineer, you support project management both on-site and in the back office with technical questions in the context of customer communication regarding the preparation and execution of maintenance measures for our large gas turbine fleet.

This includes planning the scope, spare parts, and required special tools in coordination with overall project management, field service, and other interfaces.

Using software applications such as MS Office, SAP, SEDOP and other tools, you plan all maintenance measures in advance and supports the project during the overhaul (on-site or back-office). Additionally, you support project management by creating overhaul concepts and generating possible cost savings.

Your new role challenging and future-oriented:

- Preparation of maintenance measures for gas turbines and GT auxiliary systems,



as well as evaluation of measures for overhaul preparation
- Conducting risk assessments and corresponding corrective actions regarding the planning and definition of the scope of overhauls
- Preparation of customer meetings and presentations
- Technical support for the installed gas turbine fleets in Europe and Africa

We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

- Bachelor or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with focus on rotating equipment or in an equivalent domain
- 5+ Years of Professional experience in the power plant or gas turbine business
- Knowledge in gas turbine technology and the associated service business is desirable (possibly also generator and steam turbine knowledge)
- Good English skills, spoken and written - good German skills are appreciated
- Experience in dealing with internal customers, as well as in working with intercultural teams
- A pragmatic working style, combined with an open and curious attitude towards new innovations and challenges
