Role Summary

We are looking for a Chemical Engineer Quality to support quality assurance and quality control for aerospace and military-grade cables and wires manufacturing. The role will be responsible for raw material evaluation, process quality, final product inspection, chemical and physical testing coordination, documentation, compliance support, and continuous improvement to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

## Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished cables/wires to ensure conformance with specifications.

- Review and support testing related to insulation, sheathing, bonding, wall thickness, concentricity, shrinkage, and other chemical or material quality parameters relevant to cable manufacturing.

- Ensure product compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace/defence quality expectations.

- Coordinate inspection and testing activities, including incoming inspection, in-process checks, final inspection, and type tests where required.

- Maintain quality documents such as SOPs, work instructions, inspection reports, quality plans, CAPA records, and audit files.

- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for product non-conformities, complaints, process deviations, and rejection trends.

- Work closely with production, process, R&D;, and purchase teams to improve process capability, reduce defects,



and strengthen product reliability.

- Assist in internal audits, customer audits, process reviews, and quality system compliance activities under ISO/AS standards.

- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives, 5S, process discipline, and documentation accuracy across the plant.

## Required Candidate Profile

- B.Tech / M.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering.

- 01 years of experience in quality, QA/QC, process quality, or testing in manufacturing environments.

- Preference for candidates from cables, wires, polymers, compounds, insulation materials, defence manufacturing, aerospace components, or similar technical industries.

- Positive understanding of chemical properties of insulating and sheathing materials used in cable manufacturing.

- Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, test documentation, and non-conformance handling.

- Familiarity with root cause analysis, CAPA, process control, and quality improvement tools.

- Ability to work closely with production and technical teams on the shop floor.

- Good communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
