- Implement laboratory-wise safety initiatives, safety systems, committees, meetings, and audits.
- Prepare safety procedures, ensure adherence, and conduct Workplace Hazards identification and Risk
Assessment (HIRA).
- Research, monitor, and assess workplace hazards; coordinate health and safety programs.
- Maintain 100% involvement in day-to-day activities.
- Promote the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate all safety-related activities, including training materials development, review, and site
inspections.
- Investigate and record accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
- Perform other duties related to the Quality Management System (QMS) section.
- Involvement in future accreditation projects (Fire NOC project).

- Promote health and safety awareness among all employees.

Preferred candidate profile
IT Skills:
- Preparation of safety-related MIS and knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines and standards (ISO 45001, ISO-14001, ISO-9001).
- Working knowledge of The Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation.
- Ability to maintain effective work relationships.
Behavioral Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skill
