Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager with over 10 years of experience to lead our supply chain and sourcing operations in Karaikkudi. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement cycle, optimizing material costs, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring a seamless flow of goods and raw materials to support production or operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies to secure high-quality raw materials, equipment, and services at optimal costs.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers. Negotiate long-term contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
- Cost Optimization: Conduct price forecasting, market analysis, and cost-benefit assessments to drive savings without compromising quality.
- Inventory & Logistics Control:



Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimum inventory levels, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor supply chain risks and ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, financial audits, and legal regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement executives, tracking their KPIs and performance metrics.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is a major plus).
- 10+ years of proven experience in procurement, materials management, or strategic sourcing.
- Robust command over negotiation, contract management, and ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Fluency in Tamil and English is required for effective local and regional vendor coordination.
