We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on HR Professional with over 10 years of experience to lead our Human Resources function in Karaikkudi. The ideal candidate will align HR strategies with business objectives, manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, oversee statutory compliance, and foster a high-performance work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR & Operations: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals. Oversee daily HR operations, policies, and systems.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the region and streamline the onboarding process.
- Performance Management: Design and implement robust appraisal systems, KPIs, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Drive engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
Act as a mediator to resolve employee grievances effectively.
- Compliance & Payroll: Ensure 100% adherence to local labor laws, statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Factories Act if applicable), and oversee timely payroll processing.
- Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and organize training programs to build internal leadership pipelines.
Requirements:
- MBA in HR or equivalent postgraduate degree.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably handling plant/factory or regional corporate setups.
- Deep knowledge of Tamil Nadu labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Robust command of Tamil and English (written and verbal) is essential for local stakeholder management.
