Job Summary

Amaljith and Associates, Chartered Accountants, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst with minimum 2 years of experience to handle direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and advisory assignments. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and TDS Returns.
- Handle income tax and GST assessments, notices, and departmental correspondence.
- Prepare submissions, replies, and appeal documents.
- Assist in tax audits and statutory audits.
- Conduct tax research and analyse provisions, notifications, and judicial decisions.
- Review tax computations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Coordinate with clients for information and documentation.




- Use AI tools and technology to improve productivity and quality of work.

Required Qualifications

- CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.
- 25 years of experience in taxation and compliance.
- Positive knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and TDS provisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Income Tax and GST portals.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in a Chartered Accountant firm or tax consultancy practice will be an added advantage.
