Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), workflows, and PostgreSQL to join our innovative team building cutting-edge solutions for financial services and banking. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, integrating front-end and back-end components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, product managers and designers, to deliver robust products tailored to the financial industry, leveraging your expertise in product development and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, Express.js, React, and PostgreSQL.

Implement and manage workflows to orchestrate complex, reliable, and scalable business processes.

Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless front-end and back-end integration.

Collaborate with designers using Figma to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly React components.

Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth) tailored to financial services requirements.

Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile sprint planning.

Contribute to product development strategies, leveraging expertise in financial services and banking to deliver client-focused solutions.





Stay updated on emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in the MERN stack.

Proven experience in product development, preferably in financial services or banking.

Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for building scalable APIs and server-side logic.

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, querying, and optimization.

Proficiency in React for building dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces.

Experience with workflows (preferably using Temporal) for managing distributed systems and business processes.

Familiarity with Figma for collaborating with design teams and implementing UI/UX designs.

Knowledge of secure coding practices, especially for financial applications (e.g., encryption, compliance with PCI-DSS).

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a product-oriented mindset.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with TypeScript for type-secure development.

Familiarity with financial industry standards (e.g., ISO 20022, GDPR, or other regulatory frameworks).

Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker).

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) for unit and integration testing.

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
