About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit from a Big 4 consulting firm. The ideal candidate should have worked extensively with manufacturing clients and possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, statutory compliance, and audit processes. This role offers an chance to transition into a fast-growing manufacturing startup and work closely with the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute statutory audit engagements
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and applicable accounting standards.
- Evaluate internal financial controls (IFC) and recommend process improvements.
- Identify financial and operational risks and support the implementation of effective control frameworks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Review balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.




- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and audit reports.
- Support implementation of accounting policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Participate in process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and business teams on audit observations and compliance matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.
- Current or prior experience with EY, Deloitte, PwC, or KPMG is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience auditing manufacturing companies is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Indian GAAP, Companies Act, and auditing standards.
- Experience in Internal Financial Controls (IFC), risk assessment, and compliance reviews.
- Solid analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of responsibilities.
