The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing, brand-consistent and commercially effective product displays across all jewellery showrooms. The role ensures that visual merchandising standards enhance the customer shopping experience, improve product visibility, support sales growth, and strengthen the company's brand image.
Specific responsibilities:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines and display standards across all showrooms.
- Design seasonal, festive and promotional display concepts.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity across every showroom.
- Arrange jewellery displays to maximize visibility and customer engagement.
- Coordinate window displays, display counters and feature areas.
- Ensure proper utilization of display space while maintaining an elegant appearance.
- Refresh displays periodically to maintain customer interest.
- Highlight high-margin, recent arrival and promotional collections.
- Coordinate with Sales, Inventory and Marketing teams regarding new launches.
- Conduct periodic visual merchandising audits across all showrooms. Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare audit reports with photographs and recommendations.
- Train showroom staff on visual merchandising standards.
- Guide showroom teams on display maintenance and product presentation.
- Monitor competitor display strategies and retail trends.
- Recommend innovative display concepts.
- Stay updated with jewellery merchandising practices.
- Coordinate procurement of display accessories.
- Ensure proper maintenance and replacement of damaged display equipment.
Preferred candidate profile
Male candidate in the age group of 35-50 years, with 3 - 6 years of experience in Visual Merchandising with in jewelry, luxury retail, fashion, lifestyle or premium retail brands
Functional skills
- Strong understanding of luxury retail presentation.
- Knowledge of jewelry display techniques and customer buying psychology.
- Photography and basic display documentation skills.
Technical skills
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar design tools.
- MS Office, internet and emails
Language skills
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Hindi will be an added advantage
