Role & responsibilities
- Develop and define manufacturing processes for new parts (Method of Manufacturing), PFMEA, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
- Conduct technical reviews ensuring product definition, design verification, and validation are complete.
- Interpret and implement customer requirements (e.g., Rolls-Royce, GE, Pratt & Whitney).
- Solid understanding of CNC machines (Turning, Turn-mill, Milling, Mill-turn, EDMs).
- Lead and monitor a team of Manufacturing Engineers for NPI activities including FAIR, PPAP, etc.
- Review and approve FAI & PPAP documents.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on fixture design; strong knowledge of modular aerospace fixtures.
- Resolve technical issues during NPI development.
- Manage revisions and control of internal engineering documents.
- Ensure adherence to quality systems and standards; drive continuous improvements.
- Familiarity with special processes (Wire cut, Welding, NDT, Metal Spray, Plating, Painting).
- Work with cross-functional teams (Production, NC Programming, Fixturing) for successful NPI launches.
- Standardize and promote best manufacturing practices.
- Participate in customer/supplier meetings for problem resolution.
- Manage engineering digital tools/projects such as PLM Teamcenter.
- Conduct training for internal teams.
- Perform internal audits for process and QMS compliance.

- First-time-right FAIR prove-out
- On-time FAIR and PPAP approvals
- Effective use of digital engineering tools such as PLM and MES
