Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project
costs, contracts, and procurement efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a key role in
ensuring projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality
and compliance. This position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication
skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Manage tendering processes including preparation, Rate analysis, and
recommendation of bids.

Monitor project costs and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
Conduct cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering.
Liaise with project managers, architects, and site teams to provide cost guidance.
Track project financials, prepare interim payment applications, and manage final
accounts.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contracts and payments.
Maintain records and documentation for audit and project closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
•
Bachelors degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related
field.
•

58 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of cost control, tendering, and contract management.
Familiarity with standard methods of measurement.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX if
applicable).

Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualities:

Skilled Co-ordinator with design & PM team to ensure precise details are collected to
prepare the budgets & BOQs.

Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract QS duties.
Attention to detail with a proactive and organized work style.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
