Job Title:Deputy Manager Operations

JobSummary

We areseeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager Operations tooversee warehouse and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless execution ofdaily activities, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and workforceproductivity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in theGrocery/FMCG and E-commerce sectors, with a robust understanding of warehousemanagement and 3PL operations.

KeyResponsibilities

- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound logistics.

- Drive operational excellence by monitoring and improving warehouse productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency.

- Lead and manage a workforce of 300400 associates, supervisors, and support staff.

- Ensure adherence to inventory control processes and maintain high inventory accuracy levels.

- Monitor and achieve key operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, safety, turnaround time, and customer service metrics.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement, and Vendor Management to ensure smooth operations.

- Oversee 3PL warehouse operations and ensure compliance with agreed service-level standards.

- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational performance and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with safety, security,



and statutory regulations within the warehouse.

- Conduct regular reviews, audits, and team performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

DesiredCandidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

- 710 years of relevant experience in warehouse and supply chain operations.

- Strong experience in the Grocery/FMCG industry.

- Hands-on experience managing large teams/workforces of 300400 personnel.

- Proven experience in E-commerce warehouse operations.

- Sound understanding of 3PL warehouse operations and logistics processes.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent people management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools.
