Job Title: Customer Quality Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: Quality Manager

Job Purpose

To ensure customer quality requirements are met by managing customer complaints, coordinating corrective actions, maintaining customer satisfaction, and acting as the primary quality interface between customers and the organization.

Role & responsibilities

- Handle customer complaints and warranty issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Coordinate containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Interface with customers regarding quality concerns, audits, and improvement initiatives.
- Monitor customer-specific quality requirements and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit customer quality reports and documentation.
- Participate in customer audits and support certification activities.




- Analyze customer complaint trends and recommend preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, Design, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Ensure timely closure of customer concerns within agreed timelines.
- Support current product development by reviewing customer quality requirements.
- Monitor field failures and initiate improvement projects.
- Maintain customer quality KPIs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Polymer, Rubber Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive/rubber manufacturing quality.
