Role & Responsibilities:

- Application Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
- Module Implementation (ITSM & SPM): Drive end-to-end implementation and configuration of core modules including IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change) and Strategic Portfolio Management (Project, Portfolio, Demand Management).
- Automation & Workflows: Create and optimize process automations, catalog items, and complex approval chains using Flow Designer and ServiceNow Workflow Engine.
- Integrations: Build and maintain seamless REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise tools via Integration Hub or custom web services.
- SDLC Ownership: Participate actively across all lifecycle phasesfrom technical requirement gathering and design to testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Platform Health & Best Practices: Enforce ServiceNow coding standards, ensure update set hygiene,



and design solutions that maintain upgradeability without unnecessary customization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on technical experience in ServiceNow development and platform implementation.
- Core Expertise: Demonstrated strength in configuring, customizing, and expanding ITSM and SPM modules.
- Technical Stack:
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, GlideScripting, GlideRecord APIs, and JSON.
- Solid hands-on experience with Service Portal, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Flow Designer.

- Certifications:

- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Preferred: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS e.g., CIS-ITSM or CIS-SPM).

- Domain Knowledge (Desirable): Exposure to additional modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps is a solid advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, clear client-facing communication skills, and the ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
