Role & responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & End User Support

- Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues across the plant.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and business applications.
- Respond to IT support tickets, emails, and phone calls within the defined service levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and printer-related issues.

System Administration & Maintenance

- Perform regular system updates, security patching, backups, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network faults to ensure maximum uptime.
- Ensure data security by implementing standard IT policies, antivirus updates, and backup procedures.

Network, CCTV & Vendor Management

- Monitor and maintain network connectivity and CCTV systems to ensure continuous operations.
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and CCTV vendors for issue resolution, preventive maintenance, and AMC activities.
- Support network infrastructure and assist in resolving connectivity and communication issues.

IT Asset & Inventory Management

- Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate with the Asset Management team for asset allocation, movement, additions, and disposals.




- Ensure proper documentation of IT assets, licenses, and support records.

Reporting & Governance

- Maintain accurate documentation of IT incidents, service requests, preventive maintenance, and asset records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection guidelines, and company standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline with 37 years of experience in Plant IT or Infrastructure Support.
- Hands-on experience in desktop support, networking, Windows administration, Microsoft 365 applications, and CCTV systems.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Positive understanding of LAN/WAN networking, printers, CCTV systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of IT asset management, backup procedures, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
