Position- Factory Manager

Location-Umergaon, Gujarat

Experience-12-18 Years (5+ years leading a garment factory)

Industry Preference-Womens Ethnic Wear / Apparel Manufacturing

Salary-Upto 80 K

Position Summary

The Factory Manager is the overall leader of the manufacturing unit and is accountable for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and People. The role is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are delivered on time, at the required quality and planned profitability while building a disciplined, continuously improving factory culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end factory operations including Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Quality, PPC, Warehouse, Maintenance and Dispatch.
- Own factory production planning and on-time execution of customer orders.
- Drive line efficiency, productivity and capacity utilisation.
- Ensure Right First Time quality and reduce DHU, rework and rejection.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Technical, Merchandising and Quality for smooth material flow.
- Monitor daily production MIS and initiate corrective actions.
- Control manufacturing costs and improve operational profitability.
- Develop supervisors and department heads into accountable leaders.
- Maintain discipline, safety, 5S and statutory compliance.
- Lead customer visits, audits and inspections.




- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and high machine availability.
- Support budgeting, manpower planning and annual business goals.
- Create a culture of ownership, transparency and accountability.

Candidate Profile

- 1218 years in garment manufacturing with at least 5 years leading an entire factory.
- Robust experience in women's woven/ethnic wear preferred.
- Demonstrated success in improving productivity, quality and delivery.
- Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
- Willing to relocate/work from Umergaon, Gujarat.
