Our platform is central to how members register, get matched, and manage their profiles, so we are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to keep the website reliable, secure, and continuously improving while also building out newer capabilities such as AI-assisted biodata uploads.

Key Responsibilities

Website Maintenance & Bug Fixing

- Maintain and update the existing CodeIgniter 4 (PHP) codebase for the matrimonial website
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across front-end and back-end functionality
- Monitor site performance and uptime, and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime

Feature Development

- Design and build new modules as required (e.g., recent member-facing features and admin tools)
- Add and manage new profile fields and search filters as business requirements evolve
- Work with the team to translate feature requests into working, tested functionality

AI & Third-Party Integration

- Manage and maintain the AI biodata upload integration, including API calls to Gemini AI
- Integrate and troubleshoot other third-party APIs as needed
- Handle file and image uploads/processing reliably, including validation and storage

Payments & Subscriptions

- Implement and maintain payment gateway integrations for member subscriptions and plans
- Handle subscription logic including plan upgrades, renewals, and payment status handling
- Troubleshoot payment failures and ensure accurate, reliable transaction records

Security & Reliability

- Apply basic security best practices including CSRF protection and input validation
- Review code for vulnerabilities and follow secure coding practices to protect member data
- Perform regular checks and updates to keep the site stable, fast, and secure





Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter 4
- Proficiency in PHP 7.4+ / PHP 8.x
- Solid working knowledge of MySQL, including writing and optimizing queries
- Experience integrating third-party and AI APIs (e.g., Gemini AI) into web applications
- Experience integrating payment gateways and handling subscription/billing logic
- Comfortable with file and image handling (uploads, validation, storage, processing)

Security & Best Practices

- Working knowledge of basic web security practices CSRF protection, input validation, and safe data handling
- Understanding of how to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Awareness of performance and uptime considerations for a live, member-facing website

Professional Qualities

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail while debugging live issues
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to coordinate feature requirements with non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with CodeIgniter (preferably CI4) experience
- Prior experience integrating payment gateways and third-party/AI APIs will be an advantage
- Experience maintaining a live production website will be preferred
