Title: Factory HR
Location: Peenya, Bangalore
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Factory HR professional to manage the day-to-day human resources operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for workforce management, recruitment, employee relations, attendance, statutory compliance, and supporting factory operations to ensure a productive and compliant work workplace.
Candidates with experience in Interiors, Signage, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Engineering, Construction Materials, or Industrial Production are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the factory, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
- Coordinate hiring of shop floor employees, machine operators, fabricators, welders, carpenters, painters, installers, helpers, and support staff.
- Maintain manpower planning in coordination with factory managers and production teams.
- Monitor employee attendance, shift schedules, overtime, and absenteeism.
- Support payroll by ensuring accurate attendance and overtime records are maintained.
- Handle employee grievances and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements applicable to factory operations.
- Maintain employee documentation, HR records,
and statutory registers.
- Coordinate induction programs, safety training, and employee engagement activities.
- Support performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee retention initiatives.
- Coordinate with contractors and manpower agencies for contract workforce requirements.
- Work closely with production, stores, procurement, and administration teams to ensure smooth workforce operations.
- Assist during internal and external audits related to HR and statutory compliance.
- Prepare HR reports related to manpower, recruitment, attrition, attendance, and employee performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of HR experience in manufacturing, interiors, fabrication, signage, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Experience managing blue-collar and contract workforce is highly preferred.
- Valuable understanding of factory HR operations and labor law compliance.
- Knowledge of payroll inputs, attendance management, and shift scheduling.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance such as PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and labor regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems.
