- Teach subjects including Rock Mechanics, Mine Ventilation, Blasting & Explosives, Mine Surveying, Mineral Processing, and Mine Safety
- Conduct and supervise mining lab sessions, field visits, and technical demonstrations
- Guide students on project work related to real-world mining challenges and DGMS safety frameworks
- Pursue funded research in sustainable mining, geo-mechanics, or mineral resource management
- Build academic-industry connects with mining companies, PSUs, and Coal India subsidiaries
- Contribute to accreditation (NBA/NAAC), departmental events, and institutional development
Preferred candidate profile
Assistant Professor - M.Tech in Mining Engg. (Ph.D. preferred)--03 Yrs; GATE/NET preferred
Associate Professor -- Ph.D. in Mining or Geo-technical Engg. -- 8+ Yrs teaching/research
