Position: Engineer - Hydraulics Cylinder Assembly

Your Profile:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or a related Engineering discipline with 3 To 7 years of experience in hydraulic cylinder assembly.
- Hands-on Stroung experience in hydraulic cylinder assembly, hydrostatic testing, hydraulic press testing, cycle testing, and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, WPS, WPQR, engineering drawings, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality standards.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, Kanban, inventory management, calibration, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills with a focus on productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your Tasks:

- Perform hydraulic cylinder assembly, hydraulic valve assembly, hydrostatic testing, hydraulic press testing, and cycle testing while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Execute MIG/TIG welding activities, maintain WPS & WPQR compliance, support welder qualification,



and ensure proper testing of hydraulic oil tanks and welded components.
- Analyze and resolve production and quality issues using 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor production activities, Kanban board, inventory management, material issue system, and manpower utilization to achieve daily production and productivity targets.
- Ensure calibration of testing equipment, support preventive maintenance, implement Lean, 5S, and TPM initiatives, and drive continuous process improvements in the assembly line.
