We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our Blood Bank team at Aster Medcity in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and medicine, with excellent technical skills.
Roles and Responsibility
- Operate and maintain medical equipment used in blood bank operations.
- Collect, process, and store blood samples from donors.
- Conduct tests on blood samples to ensure safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of blood donations and transfusions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a blood bank or related field.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with medical software and technology is an asset.
