Role & responsibilities

- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluation and risk assessment for cardiac surgery patients.
- Administer anesthesia for cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacement, congenital heart surgeries, and vascular procedures.
- Manage anesthesia during interventional cardiology and cath lab procedures.
- Monitor hemodynamic parameters and manage intra-operative emergencies.
- Handle advanced airway management and ventilator support.
- Interpret arterial blood gases, ECG, echocardiography findings, and invasive monitoring data.
- Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, intensivists, and OT staff for smooth surgical workflow.
- Manage post-operative pain, sedation, and ICU transfer protocols.
- Participate in code blue and emergency resuscitation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with NABH protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and clinical documentation.
- Train junior doctors, nurses, and OT technicians when required.Preferred candidate profile

- Fellowship / DM / Specialized training in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred
